Faith Christian Academy

Faith Christian Academy, a ministry of Faith Baptist Church, is dedicated to helping parents train young people to conform to the image of Christ. Because Deuteronomy 6:7 gives the parents the responsibility for educating their children, Faith Christian Academy acts as an extension of that responsibility. Faith Christian Academy desires that each student receive Christ as his personal Savior and continue to develop as Christ did when He walked on earth (Luke 2:52). To attain these goals, Faith Christian Academy uses a Bible-based curriculum so that the student will not only receive the highest academics possible, but will also develop godly character traits. It is our mission and our goal to see godly young men and women live for and serve God. Standard of Conduct

It is the desire of Faith Christian Academy to provide an environment conducive to the spiritual growth and development of our students. Students and faculty must avoid practices which cause the loss of sensitivity to the spiritual needs of the world and to their fellow Christian's physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. To maintain an atmosphere that will promote these goals, Faith Christian Academy has adopted the following standards. Each student and faculty member will...

Abstain from swearing, indecent language and literature, the use of tobacco in any form, drinking alcoholic beverages, the abuse of drugs, gambling, dancing, attending Hollywood movie theaters, and the listening of rock music, both Christian and secular.

Abstain from watching television and videos that have vulgar jokes, immoral sex scenes, and other ungodly activities.

Maintain Christian courtesy, kindness, morality, and honesty.

Dress appropriately and modestly at all times.

Choose friends that are not detrimental to his godly character.

Regularly be involved in attending church.

Avoid inappropriate physical contact between those of the opposite sex.

Inappropriate conversation will not be permitted. Inappropriate conversation includes, but is not restricted to the following: excessive teasing or teasing that is not accepted by the one being teased; discussion of worldly music(especially rock); discussion of worldly entertainment; the use of euphemisms for deity, body parts, or body functions; and the calling of unacceptable names (The definition of unacceptable is defined by administration, faculty, or the person being called the name.).

Inappropriate conversation that includes profanity, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, immorality, homosexuality, or other ungodliness may result in suspension or expulsion.
